The parents fucked up the Grinch: A poem
The Grinch was a baby, a green fuzzy lad, Who floated from the sky without a real dad. Where did he land, you eagerly demand? Well, he landed in a tree, but not in Tennessee. He landed in Whoville, in front of a party. However, this shindig was not intended for children. In fact, it offended me, only just kiddin’.
However, you roll, is okay with me. But just so you know, it’s not my cup of tea. The Grinch sat outside until Clarnella and Rose, Two elder ladies, probably in their eighties, arose in their robes. They saw the green creature and took him in. Loving him so, despite his strange grin. His grin looked suspicious, curiously vicious. But Clarnella and Rose still ambitious, Adored him like Nutella, and that’s not so nutritious. Eventually the Grinch grew up and had his first crush. He made her a shiny angel, but kept it on the hush. His classmates teased him so incredibly badly, Calling him things that sting, making him feel oh so madly. He left school that day, not going home, But instead to a mountain that looks like a gnome.
Did I mention this all took place on Christmas Eve? Can you believe Whoville schools did not close for Christmas break? How naïve! Any Who, from that point on knew the Grinch hated Christmas. And now you can ask, well, where were his misses? The misses being Clarnella and Rose, his mothers, Who weren’t his “real” moms, I suppose. Being a parent can be very hard, But when a child runs away, you bombard every guard. “Go fetch my child!” “Bring him back in one piece!” But not Clarnella and Rose, they didn’t even phone the police. It all ended good, with the Grinch proving a thing or two. “maybe Christmas, perhaps means a little bit more” Than presents and food, and substance galore. You see, he was able to prove this real science Since his small heart grew three sizes without his defiance. The alliance he formed with Cindy Lou Who, Made him review all the things he thought he once knew. But still I question the parenting styles of the so-called mothers, He should have been adopted by others. Parenting styles differ for sure, But there is no excuse for these moms, of that I am sure!
